What is the difference between the term "vitola" and the
"name" of a cigar?
A. Vitola. - Each one
of the different formats that a cigar can adopt according to its
length, thickness and shape.
Vitola de galera. - Name
that is used in the cigar factories to distinguish each one of the
vitolas that are being manufactured, independently of the name they
can be given later on, according to the commercial brand to which
they belong.
